NORTHSELL CLUB SURF CONTEST PACKED EVENT:

North Swell was yet another packed event with the crew from Reunion

rocking up.

It was great to have them there, although not all of them did well

enough to advance into the next round due to the tricky conditions,

one of the girls was good enough to get a third in the finals...well

surfed to young Jessy.

The conditions were not your ideal dairy bowl - conditions with heavy onshore winds and very upside down waves with some of them working and some of them going nowhere..

Due to the conditions we saw major upsets going down with some of our

top surfers getting knocked out due to unfortunate wave selection.

However even with the weather and the conditions surfers, parents, and

my great bunch on the panel we managed to put together what I think

was another great event.

So once again thank you to all the surfers, Moms and Dads, Vanessa,

Luke, Dean, Mike, Jussie and the rest for all pulling together with

gazeebo's, tables and chairs and etc thanks a million. Another great comp and see you all at the next event.

I want to hold a fun contest with an expression session and some prize

money for the next one which will be in November..
