There is an exciting 2A Mens and 1A Womens event happening on 18/19 December at St Mikes – R10 000 prize money for mens division.and R2500 for the women’s division.  It is called the Fever X event.  To enter go to www.surfingsouthafrica.co.za and enter online.

We are also working on putting on a fun event early December for beginners and pro surfers – more on that to follow!

The WCT event Rip Curl Pro is on at the moment in Puerto Rico.  Travis is unfortunately out of the event but Jordy Smith is through to round 3.   To watch go to www.ripcurl.com

Rosy Hodge and Nikita Robb both got tie 9^th in the event.

The Billabong Open World Surfing Champs have finished in Peru and SA got 3^rd overall as a team.  Well done to all surfers who took part especially Chad du Toit who got tie 7^th in the mens, and Chantelle Rautenback who  got tie 5^th.  Full report on website.

Well done to South African surfers who just took part in the Santa Pro in Lanzarote in Canary Islands.  Heitor Elves won yet another event – he is really doing well! Shaun Joubert came tie 25^th, Klee Strachan tie 37^th, Beyrick and Royden Bryson tie 49^th and then Rudy Palmboom and Brendan Gibbons were all in the money rounds.
