HOW TO REGISTER FOR PST & QUIKSILVER KOG:

QUIKSILVER – KING OF THE GROMS – NORTH BEACH 2-4 APRIL

– This event is for u16 boys and u14 boys divisions.

In order to enter – you need to belong to the PST – this is the Pro Surf Tour of South Africa.

To register for this you need to go onto www.surfingsouthafrica.co.za and firstly register for this.

You will see in the block on the front page of the website it says:

SSA  Contests,

Then the PST ratings from 2009

Then it says join the 2010 pro surf tour

And it says ‘ONLINE ENTRY FORM’

Click on there – and sign up for PST for the year.

If you sign under u20 boys – you will pay R300 and get a free subscription for Zigzag for the year.

If you sign under the u16 boys – you will pay R150 for the year but no mag.  You can also pay R100 pst fee per contest if you don’t want to enroll for the year (but I don’t advise that)

For the extra R150 you will have the option of entering the u20 boys divisions and get the mag so that is a good deal.

You fill in all the details on line on the form, then pay the money into the SSA account that is on the form, then fax your payment slip through to SSA on 0866 166 988.

OK – now you have enrolled and are a member of the South African Surfing Pro Surf Tour for 2010.

Then you can enter all the comps that are PST:

Quik KOG –  (entries close 29 March)

Further down on the home page of the surfing south Africa website it says QUIKSILVER KOG

Here again – you click on ‘entry form’

It is R150 per division. (u16 and u14 boys)

If you are u14 boys – you are allowed to enter both divisions (you may always surf UP and age group)

Once again – you fill this all out – submit, pay the R150 entry fee into the SSA account, and fax through proof of payment.
