This letter serves to officially announce the postponement of the Kwa-Zulu Natal Bad Billy’s event, originally scheduled for the 13th and 14th August. Regrettably, in lieu of the extended Billabong Pro J-Bay and pending Billabong Pro Junior Vic Bay, the decision has been made to postpone the inaugural Bad Billy’s event for a more logistically-suitable time. Please know that this decision was not made lightly and was based strictly around the condensed resource and reduced capacity of the Billabong Marketing team – a direct result of the extended Billabong Pro J-Bay. The Bad Billy’s event will be re-scheduled for early in 2012 with official details to follow. Please note that this announcement only refers to the KZN leg of the Bad Billy’s series. The Western Cape event will go ahead as scheduled on 5th and 6th November 2011. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and look forward to delivering a series of successful Bad Billy events as part of Billabong’s ongoing commitment to develop junior competitive surfing in South Africa.
