From the King Shaka International Airport join the N2 North to Stanger. Take the Ballito/Compensation off-ramp. At the stop street turn right and proceed over the bridge into Ballito Drive. After three traffic circles you will reach a T-junction where you turn right at the four-way stop. Turn left into Compensation Beach Road. La Montagne is 1km down the road on the right.

About Shaun Tomson: 

Shaun Tomson won his first pro contest at 17 years old and his last at 30. He was the number #1 surfer in the world at 19, 22 and also at 29. He won the Pipeline Masters at 20, the World Cup at 22 and 17 other major professional contests in Hawaii, South Africa, the USA and Japan including the ASP World Title in 1977. As the founder of Instinct Sportswear, he sponsored World Champions Tom Carroll (1984,1985) and Barton Lynch. (1986) He is the author of the best selling book Surfer’s Code and produced the award winning film Bustin’ Down the Door. He is a Business Finance and Administration graduate from the University of Natal. He recently released Surf Creatures, an e-book of rhymes for children and lives with his wife Carla and son Luke in Montecito, California.
