Slater’s Victory and Gateway Skate Event Feature On Boardriders TV # 21 presented by Virgin Mobile In Association With Resolution

This year has been an inspiring year for all Kelly Slater fans, with Slater decimating his World Tour opponents across the planet en route to his amazing ninth world title. We go on a journey with him through the year so far, witnessing his surfing performances and his victories at various World Tour events.

His first victory of the year was at the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast, which was soon followed up by a win at the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach. Slater went on to win the Globe Pro Fiji and the Billabong Pro Jeffrey’s Bay. By the time he had won the Boost Mobile Pro at Trestles and achieved a runner up position at the Quiksilver Pro France, his ninth world title was done and dusted. We go with him to Spain where he claims his title at the fabled lefts of Mundaka in freezing conditions. This is a year in the life of the ultimate professional surfer and not to be missed!

The second part of the episode is devoted to the Quiksilver Bowlriders skate event that took place at the Gateway recently. Twenty-five of the best bowl skateboarders gathered for the event and for some sick jam sessions, and after a tight thirty-minute final it was Dallas Oberholzer of Durban who earned himself R10k and a Quiksilver Bowlriders Champion title to his name.
